[ the distant sounds of sobbing were not missed by peach’s ears. whether or not they came from daisy, she felt it was her moral duty to investigate any suffering within her kingdom.
she missed the fleeing of the younger mario brother, though she did notice that daisy’s guest room door was shut rather tightly. she could sense something was bothering her, and not just a little.
